The Tatie Shed
Nestled inside our lovingly restored potato‑packing barn, our restaurant invites you into a story. Lucy’s grandfather grew and packed potatoes here and supplied the village, and today that same soil still feeds our kitchen. We follow a from‑farm‑to‑fork philosophy because freshness isn’t negotiable. Every meal is a tribute to the family farm and the local growers and butchers who supply us, and everything we serve is grown with love.
Menus
Our lunch and dinner menus change almost daily. This approach lets chefs showcase fresh, seasonal and limited‑availability ingredients, keep menus vibrant and creative and minimize waste by using every part of the animal. It also allows us to support local producers.
Heritage and Craft
Dining here is more than just eating; it’s an experience shaped by heritage and craftsmanship. Our cooking stays true to its rustic roots – nothing pretentious, just good, honest food crafted with care.
Whole‑animal butchery and nose‑to‑tail cooking ensure respect for every life we take, and vegetables are currently grown with the same care by a trusted local supplier until our own garden matures.
Meals feel like gathering around a farmhouse table: relaxed, seasonal and full of stories. As we grow, we’re bringing other local businesses along for the journey, inviting artisans, brewers and cheesemakers to share in a collaborative, sustainable food culture.
This partnership keeps our seasonal menus vibrant and reinforces our connection to the community while our own planting efforts take root.
