Nestled inside our lovingly restored potato‑packing barn, our restaurant invites you into a story. Every meal is a tribute to the family farm and the local growers and butchers who supply us, and everything we serve is grown with love.
Horncastle Farm is a family-run farm, based in Havercroft on the Pontefract and Wakefield border in West Yorkshire
In 2022 we made the decision to diversify the farm, opening up our doors for the first time. Driven by our little boys love of farming we wanted to create a fabulous environment for adults and children alike to visit and enjoy “hands on” farming experiences..

We offer farming experiences for all ages – whether this be driving a tractor, riding along on the combine harvester, feeding the lambs or our be a farmer experience.
Fresh Produce
We are super passionate about Great British Produce. All our animals are raised outdoors where possible as part of our cropping rotations. We offer, high quality, home grown and sustainable produce for your families to enjoy
