At Horncastle Farm, we proudly raise Dexter cattle, one of Britain’s oldest native breeds. They may be smaller in size — and certainly far more mischievous than their larger counterparts — but their character is matched only by the exceptional quality of their beef.

Dexters grow slowly, taking their time to mature, but the result is always worth the wait: beautifully marbled, richly flavoured meat that reflects the breed’s heritage and the care they receive here on our farm.

Our cows live outdoors on a grass-fed diet, roaming freely across our fields and testing the limits of every fence they encounter. This natural, low-stress lifestyle produces beef with outstanding depth, tenderness, and taste.
