Lamb

At Horncastle Farm, our lamb comes from proudly British native breeds raised on our own fields, where they graze naturally and live exactly as sheep should. You’ll spot our Southdowns out there — a stocky, smiley little breed known for producing exceptionally tender, rich, and silky lamb.

We also keep the magnificent Lincoln Longwools, an endangered British breed and one of the largest sheep in the country. Their long, curly wool is unmistakable, and we are incredibly proud to support their conservation with our own breeding flock.

Like everything on our farm, our sheep live outdoors, high-welfare, and stress-free, sharing the fields with our well-loved pet characters like Chocolate Bar and Susie.

Whether you prefer your lamb blushing pink or crispy and golden, you’ll taste the difference that comes from supporting British farmers, protecting rare breeds, and choosing meat raised with genuine care.
